| Anything can be done with money and welding. The welding cannot have any flaws in it due to losing air pressure and the fact that your car runs on the wheels. Have one give way and crack only spells disaster. But, a master welder should be able to handle that job easily. The other issue is finding the proper size tires to fit the 16" wheels. To go wider and keep the same overall diamter of the stock spec's, you must go lower in the aspect ratio. Finding something like that to fit a 16" wheel can prove very difficult.
